Chris Bentley is running a number of SBDA (Ski Boat Drivers Award) courses at the club in 2010. The SBDA is a certificate of competence by British Waters Ski and recognised as the standard of boat driving skills at clubs throughout the UK and approved by the Maritime & Coastguard Agency (MCA) who are responsible to the Department of the Environment, Transport and Regions. It is not a professional qualification but proof of your boat handling experience and skills.

DWWC requires an SBDA qualified driver on any boat at all times, so it's essential to take this course if you are a new boat member or boat driver.
